Just to say we have settled in very well here.
The house is unbelievable and has so many unusual paintings… it is like stepping into a by gone age. Very charming. Nothing like we have ever house sat for before.
We keep expecting afternoon tea and croquet on the lawn! I am expecting Mr Darcy to drop in at any moment 
The deer are beautiful and very tame, they are not frightened at all.
Arthur the cat is lovely and as longs as he is constantly fed he is a happy pussycat. Atlas the tortoise likes plenty of attention and the stick insects just do their own thing.
It’s a joy to be here…. 3 days is just not enough time to take in the beautiful surroundings.
